Half-pressing a transmitting Plus III, either via a camera shutter release or the two-stage TEST button, will cause certain receiving PocketWizard radios to wake-up or focus your remote camera just like using the camera’s shutter release button. Remote half-press is available with QuadZone Triggering Channels only. Plus III with Legacy firmware: Half press is available on Channels 17-32 Plus III with E Release firwmare: Half press is available on Channels 1-32
The following PocketWizard radios, when used as receivers with a remote -ACC camera cable, will pre-release a camera when a transmitting Plus III is half-pressed:
The following PocketWizard radios, when used as receivers with a remote -ACC camera cable, will *not* pre-release a camera when a transmitting Plus III is half-pressed:
Fully pressing the transmitting Plus III's TEST button fires any remote cameras or flashes connected to receiving PocketWizard radios set to the same Channel and Zones. Half-pressing the Plus III does not affect remote flashes.
