Some PocketWizard radios can be powered via an external power supply instead of AA batteries. Not all radios work with the same power supplies. It's important to identify the exact model radio you have to find the appropriate power supply. FCC (344Mhz) PocketWizards are mainly distributed in the US and Canada while CE (433Mhz) models are sold in most other countries. You can verify that your MultiMAX will work with this AC adapter by checking the serial number located inside the battery compartment. Serial numbers for this FCC MultiMAX fall between 5578506 and 5578569, 5578601 and 5578900, and 5579001 and higher.
