View source for Plus III Half-Press Compatibility

Half-pressing a transmitting Plus III, either via a camera shutter release or the two-stage TEST button, will cause certain receiving PocketWizard radios to pre-release a remote camera. In this way, a transmitting Plus III can be used in conjunction with different radios to perform a remote half-press. Remote half-press available with QuadZone Triggering Channels 17-32 only.

The following PocketWizard radios, when used as receivers with a remote -ACC camera cable, will pre-release a camera when a transmitting Plus III is half-pressed:

The following PocketWizard radios, when used as receivers with a remote -ACC camera cable, will *not* pre-release a camera when a transmitting Plus III is half-pressed:

Fully pressing the transmitting Plus III's TEST button fires any remote cameras or flashes connected to receiving PocketWizard radios set to the same Channel and Zones. Half-pressing the Plus III does not affect remote flashes.
